It’s training time again and we’re thrilled to show off our
newest franchisees. They’re hitting the books in Minneapolis this
week to prepare for their grand opening or re-grand opening. Each aspiring
business owner, whether traveling from the east coast, Midwest, or Canada
all have their own unique stories. Below you’ll be able to get to
know them all a bit more.

The two own a pet boarding, grooming and retail shop in Layton, UT. Selina
was a dog groomer for 27 years and David, an accountant. Their experience
in the retail industry brought them to Winmark in hopes of opening their
second business. When the Plato’s Closet in their community was
listed for sale, the Layton couple jumped on the opportunity. Selina and
David have been customers of Plato’s Closet for 10 years and they’re
excited to build relationships with their community and customers.

help families expand their funds. As store owner, he is looking forward
to creating a positive culture. With his own words, Greg states, “Creating
a positive culture, and in turn those positive roots, will churn positive
gains.”

customers with a great in store experience is crucial to the success of
any business and she knows she can provide that with her new business
venture at Once Upon A Child in Maryland.
