How We Prepare Them
When we welcome a new franchisee to our family, we enroll them into our training program that includes more than 75 hours of education on topics ranging from customer service to operations to marketing and advertising. Even after the grand opening, all our franchisees have access to our Winmark digital tools and franchise support for all their marketing and store operational needs.

Winmark is careful about where we choose to open our franchise stores because we have specifically built our brands to play a very specific role in the marketplace. Between high-end retail stores and low-quality secondhand outlets, Winmark brand stores offer consumers a quality retail experience that offers gently used items at remarkable discounts. This is especially true for our Once Upon a Child franchise, which offers budget-conscious families and parents up to a 90% markdown on name brand merchandise for their children.
