the past few years as many nationally known brands are laying off, reorganizing
or just simply going away altogether in liquidation events. While e-commerce,
the weather, competition and the economy have all played a part in their

& Things, Radio Shack, and more joined the fray.
Retail is a tough business, and losing a job is never easy. But each of
these retail employees has character traits that align extremely well
with franchise ownership. Work ethic, job knowledge and experience, customer
service orientation, and working in a team environment are all major contributors
to building a successful franchise. Combined with the obvious passion
