Our Mission Is to Provide Resale for Everyone®
Winmark® has perfected the "ultra-high-value" retailing niche, which combines selling high-quality secondhand goods alongside brand new merchandise in a traditional retail format. We've extended that approach to each of our five brands - Plato’s Closet®, Once Upon A Child®, Play It Again Sports®, Style Encore®, and Music Go Round® - and currently have over 1,300 locations in North America. We far exceed our competitors by number of stores and outperform them on average sales volume with a superior business model, stronger brand name, and comprehensive support. We have developed fruitful, long-term relationships with third party vendors that provide everything from business insurance to fixtures, supplies, and credit card processing to help our franchisees maximize their bottom lines as well as their top lines.
When it comes to creating partnerships with our franchisees, we believe in a 100% franchised system. That means that there are no corporate stores, so all of our time, effort, and resources are focused on providing our franchisees with what they need to ensure they are in the best position to succeed.
