Congratulations to Dave and Christina Dunlop on their record-breaking Once Upon A Child grand opening in West Winnipeg, MB, August 27. There were about 125 excited shoppers in line when the doors opened – and the line wrapped around the store until mid-afternoon. They had tons of great toys and equipment to sell.
The Dunlops chose to open a Once Upon A Child store because they’re “huge fans” of the brand and they visited its stores constantly during trips to Minneapolis the last five or six years, Christina said. Last September on their way home from one of those trips, they started talking about it and decided to look into opening a Once Upon A Child – and now their store is open for business.
